It is amazing how clear my head is and how much work I am getting done...
- hung new curtains & washed old ones
- working on art - applying colours to old, bad prints
- getting rid of clutter
- measured all of my sculptures from last year's show
- entered art in juried shows
- learning Hungarian alphabet - a Magyar abece! - and pronunciation via a super website
- reading, reading, reading
I have really delved into this book on a Central European photography exhibit that was at the NGA a couple years ago. So sad to have missed it - where was my head - but the images and the history is just so inspiring and amazing. I especially love the fact that rather than give all the credit to the Parisians, it really covers timelines so that I can see just how revolutionary those people were. I am only on the second chapter of the book but I am already feeling the pull to go to where my dad's family is from - Hungary right near the Slovak border.
But London first... and also re-reading up on that to find new things to do this time!
And dinner at the best Mexican restaurant in NJ tonight! What a week!
